Personal Mission Statement:

For years now, Americans have been on the go whether for school, soccer practice, kids recitals, or trying to beat a deadline for work.  Everyone seems so exhausted that they now try to complete their tasks faster by rushing the simple things, such as eating.  Most American’s run through a drive-thru to pick up lunch or dinner instead of fixing something at home.  This busy life has led American’s to where we are now.  It is no secret that the Southeast has the highest obesity ratings in the US.  Many recent studies have shown, how poor eating habits and physical exercise may damage a person internally as well as externally.  It is time for people to make a change and I want to be a catalyst for that positive change.  My goal as a nutrition professional is to help American’s feel better about themselves and to live healthier lives by providing nutritional and physical education as part of everyones daily routines.

Why I chose this Path:

One must be cleansed inside and out to feel clear and vigilant.  Both exercise and diet go hand in hand.  They both help you feel healthy, but when used in unison, with the endorphins being released from exercise and the nutrients from the food, it creates an overall mind/body balance.  An obese person typically feels fatigued and without hope.  I want to be the Health coach to inspire and educate them to a new life of feeling energized and optomistic about what they can contribute to their own success.
